Feeds

News feeds are used to push content from the host website to any interested clients in a publish/subscribe fashion. Using a program called a news aggregator, users can subscribe to various feeds and have their abstracts updated and displayed in an organized way. Some common news aggregators are FeedReader (Windows), Liferea (Linux), and BlogLines (web-based app).

So far, I only have an RSS feed. As I understand it, this is a less functional format compared to some of the newer feeds (namely Atom), but at some point I may add more. Hehe. Who am I kidding? Frankly, I got pretty bored with the whole news-feed thing after about 5 minutes and barely finished validating the RSS feed. If you happen to ever use this feature, let me know and I'll spend a little time putting a better feed together.
